This weekend, I have updated to Joomla 1.7.  So far, so good!  It is the Labor Day weekend.  I hope everyone is enjoying the end of summer.  This summer has been too short.  I did not get to everything that I had planned.  I did not go camping.  There is still time.  I did manage to keep my job.  I was and still worried about the current Government.  I am working for a Department of Labor contract. 

Getting back to Joomla, I am trying to upgrade my current non profit website to Joomla 1.7.  Most of my components to not have upgrades yet.  I have disabled them.  I am moving forward to see how different 1.7 is!  To let you know how different it is, I have been using Joomla since 1.0.  I finally bought a book to help in the transition.  There is a lot new to learn in Joomla this time.  In any case, this is my test site and person blog site.  If I mess this up no one but you will know!  I must have at least one reader.  Probably my mom, Scott , or maybe Eric.
